Seed Swap Saturday
Seed Swap Saturday is an annual event that takes place in the early spring.
The 2018 seed swap, held at St Andrew's Church on 3rd February, attracted more visitors than ever before and not only passed on seeds but offered information and an opportunity to discuss gardening topics. We thank Paul Jupp from Meadow in my Garden for his continuing support, David Brown from Kennet Beekeepers Association and Vince Wakefield for telling us about his cider and discussing growing apples. We were also pleased to have a group from Five Lanes Primary School with information about their garden and samples of their apple juice. Many thanks to the staff and children who came along. Milly Carmichael, from Transition Marlborough, joined us to tell people about permaculture and set the scene for a taster day in the near future.
The date for the next Seed Swap Saturday is to be confirmed.
