The second talk in the Sustainable Devizes winter series will be by Laurie Michaelis on the subject of 'Engaging Communities'.

Laurie is the co-ordinator for Living Witness, a Quaker initiative to encourage people to live sustainably. The blog here gives a flavour of this work.

Talk - All Plastics are Recyclable Wednesday 12 December 2018 07:30pm

The third talk in the Sustainable Devizes winter series will be by Nico Stilwell of Storm Board LLP. Storm Board turn waste plastic into a weather proof alternative to plywood. Hence the subject of the talk 'All Plastics are Recyclable'.

Talk - Climate Justice Wednesday 20 March 2019 07:30pm

Since the effects of climate change are disproportionally triggered by the global wealthy but suffered by global poor, the topic of climate justice is becoming ever more relevant. Katrine Musgrave, who is the Wiltshire co-ordinator for Christian Aid, will be giving a talk to update us on the latest thinking in this area.
